Physician Satisfaction

Family Physicians, like most doctors, enjoy their job.  One of the best indicators of physician job satisfaction is having an enjoyable patient relationship.  Family doctors put the patient-doctor relationship in the forefront of care.  The long-term care of patients and families is why we enjoy our job.  Other predictors of physician satisfaction include not feeling overworked and having autonomy in practice.  Family physicians are among the most satisfied doctors out of the various specialties.
