Mission

Mission Statement

The mission of the Center for Respite Care is to provide quality, holistic medical care to homeless people who need a safe place to heal, while assisting them in breaking the cycle of homelessness.

We believe in the intrinsic worth of all persons and that they are entitled to the resources necessary to meet their basic needs. We believe that all people, regardless of race, color, beliefs, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, physical or mental handicap, or limited financial means are entitled to good health care, a place to live and a sense of self-worth.  We believe all people are important and that they should be treated with fairness, respect and dignity.  We are committed to upholding the rights of those without power and influence, and believe that in doing so we best serve the common good.
